A data protection officer is not legally required and therefore not appointed.

2. At a glance

This website is static. We use no cookies, no tracking, no analytics or marketing tools. Fonts are served with the website; no connection is made to third parties (e.g. Google Fonts). Personal data is therefore only processed to the extent technically necessary.

3. Hosting and server log files

When you access this website, the server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page retrieved, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer), where transmitted.

Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 7 days unless needed to investigate a specific security incident.

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA (processor). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. Personal data (in particular the IP address) may be transferred to the USA; Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR).

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email (e.g. support@wayfinder-ai.de), we process the data you provide (name, email address, message content) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your enquiry). This website contains no server-side contact form; clicking an email address opens your own email client. Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention periods apply.

5. No cookies, no tracking

No cookies are set and no analytics or advertising services are used. There is no user tracking and no profiling. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

6. Fonts (self-hosted)

For a consistent appearance we use fonts stored locally on our server and served from there. No personal data is transferred to third parties.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser bar.

8. Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

10. Note on the Wayfinder AI platform

This privacy notice concerns this website only. The Wayfinder AI platform itself runs on-premise within each customer's own infrastructure; the business and personal data processed there never leaves the customer's premises and is governed by the separately concluded data processing agreement (DPA).
